Screening Center for Cancer Prevention

The Cancer Prevention Research Center opened in October 2012 as part of the growing facilities at SYSCUCC. The center is a six storey building, architecturally created to provide a clinically safe environment. The whole center is solely committed to cancer prevention through the use of sophisticated cancer screening technology carried out by a professional team of medical experts including professors and oncologically trained nurses.

Spending upwards of sixty million yuan on specialized equipment the department is fitted with the most up to date technological advancements in cancer diagnostics. Such equipment includes: imported large diameter short magnet MRI, 64-slice 128-layer low-dose CT, three-dimensional tomographic mammography, ultrasound, endoscopy, an automatic immune biochemical analyzer as well as other high-end equipment. With this equipment, in conjunction with the advanced PET/CT equipment from SYSUCC, the departmental team provides a full range of professional and systematic anti-cancer screening programs which cater to individuals or groups. This includes personalized cancer screening packages, single disease screening packages, and other cancer risk evaluation and cancer prevention programs. Many of these screening programs can be personalized to your medical history and concerns, as advised by our medical experts.
