After getting his bachelor’s degree of medicine in Zhongshan School of Medicine (equivalent to an M.D. in the USA), Dr. Yang was recommended for admission to the First Affiliated Hospital of SYSU, majoring in surgery. And then he was a joint Ph.D. student at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) for 2 years, supported by China Scholarship Council. He started his work as a surgeon at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (SYSUCC) in 2018, and he was committed to the comprehensive treatment of breast cancer research. To date, He published more than 10 articles as the first author and applied for 8 patents.
Interests
1) Oncoplastic breast-conserving surgery and breast-conserving surgery.  
2) Comprehensive treatment of breast cancer and development of new treatments. 
3) Metastasis, recurrence, and drug resistance mechanism of breast cancer.
4) Prevention of complications of breast cancer treatment, such as endocrine therapy-related osteoporosis, aiming to improve the life quality of patients
