Prof. Hu Pili has engaged herself in clinical treatment of tumors combined with traditional Chinese and western medicine (tumor patients are treated with traditional Chinese medicine in combination before and after chemotherapy, radiotherapy, operation, interventional treatment and biotherapy) for 30 years. She specializes in treating breast cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, digestive system neoplasms (intestinal cancer, gastric cancer, esophagus cancer and liver cancer), lung cancer and lymphadenoma with traditional Chinese and western medicine. During the past years, she has observed the changes of tumor patients’ tongue manifestations systemically and delved into the relationship between the bluish purple tongue and the prognosis of cancer patients.
