Dr. Xi Lin has been working in the Ultrasound Diagnosis and Interventional Treatment at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center since she graduated from undergraduate program from Sun Yat-sen University in 2002.She has been a chief physician in Ultrasound Diagnosis and Interventional Treatment since January 2018,as well as a supervisor of PhD student. She is also a vicechairman of the Fourth Superficial Organ and Peripheral Vessel Ultrasound Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Ultrasound Medical Engineering; a vicechairman ofthe Ultrasound Medicine Professional Committee of Guangdong Medical Education Association; a member of the Ultrasound Medicine Expert Committee for the National Health Commission Capacity Building and Continuing EducationCenter.

Dr. Lin specializes in ultrasound diagnosis and interventional treatment of such cancer as hepatobiliary cancer, urinary system cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer, lymphoma and gynecological cancers. She has extensive experiencein conductingin-depth researchon theearly diagnosis of breast cancer and other superficial organ tumors. HerSCI papershave been publishedin world renowned journals such as Nature Communications,Radiology Artificial Intelligence, Medical Image Analysis.The research finding(Tang et al. Korean J Radiol. 2020 May) was cited at the section of Automated Breast Ultrasound and handheldultrasound in the BI-RADS atlas (version 6).

Dr. Lin graduated from undergraduate program from Sun Yat-sen University in 2002. She was conferred upon the degree of Master of Clinical Medicine in 2008 and the degree of Doctor of Clinical Medicine in 2011 by Sun Yat-sen University. She furthered her studies in Breast Screening and Diagnostic Imaging Centre at University of Western Australia between September 2010 and September 2011.
