Dr. Chen Likun is a PhD, advisor of master’s degree student, associate professor of Medical Oncology in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. She is a Youth Committee member of CSCO, Vice Team Leader of Youth Committee in Guangdong Anticancer Association specialized committee, member of Sun Yat-sen University Lung Cancer Center, member of specialized oncology committee of Guangdong Heath Management Association, member of specialized esophagus cancer committee in Guangdong Anticancer Association and Youth Committee member of branch association in oncology of Guangdong Medical Association, and member of ASCO.

In 2008, she won the award of “Ceclor Best Chinese Doctors”. Graduated from former Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, majored in clinical medicine, she then obtained a master’s degree in Sun Yat-sen University, majored in oncology and she’s been working in Medical Oncology in Sun Yat-sen University oncology center.

In 2006, she received a doctoral degree in oncology in Sun Yat-sen University, researching on the direction of medical treatment of lung cancer and nasopharynx cancer. She has an in-depth research on lung cancer treatment, especially in the complex treatment of brain metastasis for many years, including permeability research of chemotherapeutics brain metastasis BBB, research of combination therapy of chemotherapy, targeted therapy and brain radiotherapy, and research of individualized treatment of lung cancer with brain metastasis. She has achieved excellent research results in some related areas. She also has accumulated experience in the individualized treatment and sequential therapy for advanced lung cancer. She launched several researches about the lung cancer individualized targeted treatment and resistance mechanisms. She led and took part in many oncology researches at provincial and national levels, and projects about clinical research of new drugs in the national and international level. She also has publicized over 40 related papers in journals at home and abroad.
