Profile
Prof. Chi is currently a chief technician and the deputy director in the Department of Medicine Laboratory at Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) Cancer Center, Guangzhou, China. She has been a visiting scholar at the Pathology Department of University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), USA. Prof. Chi has extensive experience and expertise in the field of immunophenotyping of leukemia and lymphoma as well as the study on cellular immune function. She presides over two grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial level government, respectively. Prof. Chi was granted a patent and successfully carried out its commercialization. She has published over ten peer-reviewed papers as the first author and corresponding author. As a member of the expert group,Prof. Chi has participated in the formulation of one group standard and 10 expert consensus documents related to flow cytometry detection, as well as four books of academic works. She holds many academic posts, including the standing committee member of the Cell Analysis Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Biotechnology Engineering and the Flow Cytometry Analysis Diagnosis Expert Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine for Laboratory Medicine, the vice director of the Flow Cytometry Clinical Application Promotion Group of the Chinese Ethnic Health Association, the chairman of Guangdong Province Immunology Society Committee for the Application and Transformation of New Immunology Technologies, etc.
