Description:
Dr Liu has worked as a urologist at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center since 2000. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer, testicular cancer, Wilm's tumors and neuroblastoma. He is also a recognized expert in robot/laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Liu has been a visiting scholar at Hokkaido University's department of urology in Japan (2004-2005), and a visiting assistant professor at the department of urology at UT Southwestern's Medical Center in the United States of America (2011-2012). He has published more than 40 academic papers and co-edited six books. Dr Liu has received several notable honors including: Guangdong's “Distinguished Young Doctor”, Guangzhou City's “Excellent young physician”, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center's  “Youth Talent Training Program” in 2009.
